In this chapter we learn Cicero's five canons of persuasion. They are invention, arrangement, style, memory, and delivery. We also learn they can be used in less formal settings like a presentation to a boss. We must first invent what we intend to say. Then arrange the order we want to say it in. Then style it according to the audience. Next put it down on paper or computer, then lastly deliver your speech.
